The first is Levi himself, who sells a lot of top-end runes and the Spirit Healer specialisation tome. Here you’ll also find the Party Storage Chest, which allows you to store things to keep for later without using up your inventory space. Once you’re done, head out of the keep.įrom now on, whenever you return to Soldier’s Peak, Levi and some others will have set up shop in the courtyard. This will reveal Asturian’s Stash and some nice loot. Before leaving, examine Asturian’s Portrait above the fireplace and recite the Warden’s oath. These have some good bonuses on them for a mage. If you did kill Avernus, check his body to receive his robes. Kill the skeletons on the bridge and enter Avernus’s Tower. The book on the table contains another codex.
Chances are you won’t be able to open it, but there’s also nothing particularly important in it either. There is a chest in the corner but it requires some top class lock-picking to be able to open it. Once she’s dead, loot her for some very good armour. If you choose not to make a deal, which I advise, kill the hell out of Sophia and her minions. You can choose to make a deal with her if you wish, but it’s probably best not to. Take the other door to the left to meet Commander Sophia Dryden. Check the Strawberry Jam on the shrine to receive another quest codex. Head up into the Shrine and you’ll see a door blocked with magic. This area also contains a hidden stash, but it's not possible to open it yet.
It’ll be a while before anyone in your party is able to wield it, but make sure to hold on to it until they can. Check the demon to receive one of the best staves in the game: Winter’s Breath. Once the demon is dead you’ll get another cutscene. There are dead wardens spawning in the area who continually heal the demon, so take them out first. Continue through the rooms here for another cutscene.
